I'm currently on a lay over in Dallas on my way to Houston (and then via shuttle, Tuscon). I'm sitting here on my laptop and taking in the various sites of the airport terminal. I don't know how many of you have ever took part in people watching? At a place like a major international airport, it feels like you are at the UN. In the last hour, practically every shape, size and color of person has walked by good ole gate A11. As you look at these people and here a number of different languages spoke, you start to wonder what these people's stories happen to be. (Crap, I just remembered I forgot to pack a pillow). As you ask (I see sleeves are no longer required to get through airport security), its easy to ask yourself questions like "are they in love?" "what were they thinking when they put on that shirt", "do they love God."
I find myself thinking about something else as I sit in this airport. I think to myself this is the very city where the show Dallas was based. I remember on Friday nights, my brother and I would watch Dallas and Falcon Crest every Friday with our parents. In between the shows, we would always pop popcorn and have soda. Having a chance to watch the show later when I was younger, I was appalled that my parents would allow me to watch such filth :) Love you mom and dad!!!
