A typical Obama voter????

I was driving in Belleville just now and I found myself behind a truck with two bumper stickers. One was the standard "Obama" bumper sticker, and the other was a "When Bush took office, gas was $1.49 a gallon" (what is he saying, does he want to go back to the time when Bush took office????). Something upset this man about the way I was driving, perhaps he thought I was driving too close (I didn't have my contacts in after all and I just had to find out the political beliefs of his rear bumper). He pulled off to the side and waved me by. As he waved me by, he strangely became concerned with my ability to operate an English Longbow (that means he flipped me off kids). I thought about his concern and I was deeply touched by it. Not knowing this man but wanting to show a similar concern for my fellow man that had shown such concern for my and my archery awareness, I wanted to return the favor. As a result, when I passed him, I made sure to drive slow enough (say, about 10 mph) so he could get a nice look at my Jesus fish that I have on the back of my car. Sadly, he made a right turn soon after...sigh, I was looking forward to getting to know that guy.

  1. Love it! Nice job taking the high road, btw. Not always easy to do.
